Who would have thought this legendary concert series would run for 20 years? It is now two decades since Jamie Winchester and Róbert Hrutka first performed their songs on the Müpa Budapest stage with the accompaniment of a symphony orchestra, and under the moniker “Wood and Strings”. The single concert became a series that has won several prizes and brought incredible success to the songwriting duo. Now, they are reuniting for a special evening in which they are joined by a string quartet to revive the best songs from the past 20 years and also offer a few surprises for the audience. A touch of nostalgia and an emotional rollercoaster for lovers of melancholic pop-rock.
