“This dance is wild, even the house itself is making music.” An air of liberation awaits those with feet that like to dance at the Seven Kingdom Dance House’s events themed around Hungarian nationhood. One of the main goals of the series in 2026 is to encourage participants to discover – alongside the Hungarian dances from various regions that have been featured monthly for years – the musical and dance culture of the 13 ethnic minorities living in Hungary. Anyone who likes music, and is interested in Greek, German, Croatian and Gypsy dances should not miss this opportunity to try them out and learn them. At each event of the series, performers from a specific region will, in addition to teaching the dances, also present the characteristic instruments and folk costumes of their area.
