A star orchestra playing alongside a star conductor and a star soloist: following up on their highly successful concert here in 2022, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, recipient of the Opus Klassik Award for Orchestra of the Year in 2024, are returning to Müpa Budapest. Hailing from the Netherlands, soloist Janine Jansen is one of the most popular violin virtuosos of our time, while the Estonian-American conductor Paavo Järvi, for whom this concert will mark his eighth appearance at Müpa, is one of the finest maestros of recent decades. Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major paired with Schubert’s Fourth Symphony makes for a programme that will delight both connoisseurs of classical music and casual listeners alike.
