As Müpa Budapest’s artist of the season, the world-renowned violin virtuoso Barnabás Kelemen will give a joint concert alongside his old friend and fellow musician the great clarinetist Andreas Ottensamer. Born to an Austrian-Hungarian family of musicians, he is not only a celebrated soloist and contributor to chamber productions, but also the pride of the Berlin Philharmonic, recently taking the stage more and more often as a conductor. Joining them on this evening will be two members of the Kelemen artistic dynasty, Katalin Kokas and Gáspár Kelemen, and two string soloists renowned across Europe, the cellist László Fenyő and the double bassist Zsolt Fejérvári. The special programme features masterpieces by Mendelssohn, Dvořák and Brahms.
