Additional halls

Banner Square

This is an attractive open area in the ground floor Foyer. The so-called “cascade of steps” forms the basis of the space.  Its primary function is to accommodate exhibitions, but the adjoining stage also allows for small groups to perform here.

Stairway Hall

This is an enclosed event area on the ground floor, next to the Bohemian Restaurant. It can be separated from other areas that are open to guests. The Stairway Hall is ideal for discussions, small-scale press-conferences and section meetings.

Salon

Located in the first-floor Foyer, this oval room with its unique wall covering directly adjoins the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, but it can also be used as a stand-alone venue for small-scale events, modest buffet receptions and business meetings.

Panorama Bar

This area is located on the third floor, the top gallery level of the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall. It opens onto the building’s rooftop terrace, offering a spectacular view of the city.  It is recommended for small-scale receptions following performances in the concert hall.

Festival Square

Located on the same floor as the Festival Theatre’s cloakroom, this area can be easily separated from the rest of the Foyer. It is ideal for receptions connected to performances in the Festival Theatre. The Festival Square is a three-storey area. The first two storeys have a capacity of 350 for buffet receptions. Storeys of the Festival Square cannot be used for receptions unless used together with the Festival Theatre or when there are no scheduled performances there. Besides being a great place for receptions, the Festival Square is also a popular exhibition site.

Foyer

Müpa’s ground floor Foyer cannot be used for private events as this area is always open to guests. The first-floor Foyer is only available for private receptions if it is used together with the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall.
