A resident of Berlin, the guitarist and songwritter Ferenc Snétberger has risen to international fame with a style refined to perfection over the past three decades. His at once virtuoso and remarkably sensitive play, as well as his unique "classical-jazz-brazil” compositions, are highly acclaimed not only in Europe, but also overseas. Following the release of a solo disc in 2016, he will appear here in concert before the Hungarian audience with his brand-new trio, in which the British Phil Donkin plays double bass alongside the New York-based Ferenc Németh on the drums. Their special guest will be the Norwegian trumpeter Nils Petter Molvaer, one of the most distinctive figures in Scandinavian jazz.
