Three performers, one orchestra and a wide array of classic French chansons on Müpa Budapest's main stage. All three of our three female singers have superb voices, though they first encountered French chanson in different ways. They have each gained plenty of experience with both the genre and the language, becoming expert interpreters of French chansons. Eszter Kárász performs the songs of Édith Piaf with incredible authenticity, Kátya Tompos brings well-known classics to life with the air of a Russian aristocrat, while Boggie presents the still living, lyrical side of chanson music.

To add an even more refined air to their performance and offer the audience an even more exclusive experience, they will be accompanied by the Danubia Orchestra Óbuda. A musical journey across time across the profundities and peaks of well-known and rare, oft-sung and reinterpreted, classic and modern French chansons. Stunning instrumentation, heartbreaking solos, grand emotions: painful romance, remembrance, unfulfilled love - all at the sizzling temperature typical of French art.
The J'aime la chanson production was originally brought to life by the Vigadó Concert Hall venue. In November 2018, a concert from the three divas sold out in less than a month. It was such a success that a repeat performance sold out in record time the following year. Now, this joint production with Jazzy Radio and the Danubia Orchestra Óbuda is set to make its Müpa Budapest debut.
