Director Péter Bacsó

Péter Bacsó, a Hungarian filmmaker with an unfailing sense of humour and wealth of ideas, a director with the broadest of ranges and a screenwriter of numerous hits, began his directing career in the light summer movie genre after 15 years on the production and writing side. His film sings of the bicycle as the symbol of the world view of the 1960s beat generation. Alongside film composer Szabolcs Fényes, the credits also include the name of singer-songwriter Tamás Cseh for the first time, while the pop group Illés also made their cinematic breakthrough here. Our visitors are kindly informed that this film will be screened in Hungarian. Presented by: Palace of Arts, MaNDA
