When two multifaceted, imaginative and deservedly popular artists, full of creative force, find each other. This joint event featuring a musical composer, songwriter frontman (with the group Kistehén) and a prolific writer and playwright is a must see for anyone interested in seeing how demanding, high-level contemporary art can also be enjoyable and entertaining. greCSÓKOLlár (an amalgam of their two names) is the synthesis of two theatrical men who are both great creators and superb performers, featuring their shared thoughts and dialogues in a show full of countless improvisations and spontaneity, concerned with friendship, love and lovers, staying and fleeing, hope and despair, departure and arrival and home and homelessness. Old stories, intimate evenings, anecdotes, the legends breaking into joint song, and new short stories - all of them written for us and about us.
These musical adventures are made special by the presence of László Kollár-Klemencz, one of the most versatile figures of the Hungarian underground scene, who a few years ago published a great selection of short stories as a prose writer, and Krisztián Grecsó, who has achieved great success with his reading camp and is also a musician and songwriter. Both of them work without any kind of artistic pretensions, using an infinitely attractive personal tone, while blurring differences in genre and blending in to each other's musical, presentational and literary performances.
This production is a version of the 'Hungarian hearts always beat true' programme completely reconceived for this occasion.
