14th Winter Wonderings - Artwork by students from the schools of Ferencváros
15 January 2020 Wednesday
29 January 2020 Wednesday
Festival Square

The 14th Winter Wonderings exhibition gives the most talented students of Ferencváros another opportunity to make their artistic débuts. On display will be graphic designs, paintings, fashion designs and haute couture apparel creating by students aged 7-19.

Visitors will get to see a selection of the finest drawings and professional projects of students studying fashion, style and textile design. They will also get a glimpse into the most successful solutions produced in the course of their design and implementation assignments, which include reusability as one of their key focuses.
These works have been created using different graphic and painting techniques.
Schools are always looking for ways, in alignment with the unique features and
requirements of their environments, to emphasise the values that will help their
students prosper the most. This is how schools develop their own particular images. Arts education yields dividends in many different forms, which is what makes it so wonderful: it generates creative energy. It nourishes creativity, a force that drives every human activity. The way our mind stores fragments of memory is by putting its own personal stamp on information packets received from the outside world to create an inner world. This makes it possible to store them for years and recall them easily.

The effect of the arts education process can be measured over the course of months, years and decades. From starting the programme and taking the initial steps through completing it and beyond. Understanding, tradition, customs and behavioural norms, elements influencing and determining their tastes, conditioning, the images that they have constructed of the world: everything that students at school experience will accompany them throughout their lives. This is what they grow up on.
Quality counts in assessing things, careers and people.
Schools invited to participate: District Nine József Attila Primary and Art School; District Nine Kosztolányi Dezső Primary School; Kőrösi Csoma Sándor Bilingual Primary School; Jaschik Álmos Secondary School of Arts; Jelky András Secondary School of Arts; Secondary School of the Fine and Applied Arts; Leövey Klára Secondary School
