Sing-along Baby Musical Kindergarten
15 May 2019 Wednesday
3 pm - 3:30 pm
Stairway Hall

Dr Ilona Gáll Gróh, the Pro Familiis and Katalin Forrai prize-winning music pedagogist and creator of the artistic method, welcomes small groups of kindergarten-aged children and their parents on Wednesday afternoons for tried-and-trusted Sing-along Baby activities at the Musical Kindergarten. The activity is for 3-4 year-olds who have grown too old for Sing-along Baby, which was created for 0-3 year-olds. The aim of these half-hour activities is to familarise the children with song-based games, Hungarian folk songs, nursery rhymes and songs from other nations in order to help them develop their interest in music, shape their musical tastes and increase their receptiveness to creative pursuits: listening to music, learning to sing, developing a feel for rhythm, sense of musical form and their creativity, as well as helping them adopt the habit of listening to music. The sessions progress from one week to the next, so regular participation is advised.
