Seven Kingdoms Dance House – Héjsza dances from Gyimes and the gyimes gardon
Music, dance and singing activities with stories – for children
11 February 2024, Sunday
12 pm - 1 pm
Glass Hall
Produced by Müpa Budapest

Once a month, the Seven Kingdoms Dance House series is incorporated into the Sunday programme of the Palace of Delights. With the help of outstanding musicians, masters of traditional instruments and dance masters, children can take their first dance steps and get to know the traditions of the country's regions. Through stories, games, customs, music, songs and the distinctive instruments of individual regions, they take part not only as listeners, but as active participants in communal play and dance. In keeping with the importance of emphasising environmentally conscious behaviour, interesting facts about the traditional peasant culture of the given region will also be presented with the intention of awakening the interest of dance house participants in our natural environment.

Presented by: Müpa Budapest

Featuring:
