Recirquel: Kristály at Millenáris - off-site Müpa performance
Winter contemporary circus fairy tale
14 December 2022, Wednesday
4 pm - 5 pm
Millenáris Glass Hall (building D)
Produced by Müpa Budapest
Change

Please kindly note that the venue of the performance is the Millenáris Glass Hall Building D (1024 Budapest, Kis Rókus u. 16-20.)

For this year's winter season, Kristály returns for its fifth season to celebrate the atmosphere of the end-of-year period in an updated version and new venue.
Awaiting adults and children alike at Millenáris is the magical world of Kristály, where amazing fairy-tale images frozen in glistening ice come to life before the eyes of the audience, and with their involvement.
This contemporary circus production conceived by artistic director Bence Vági recalls classic fairy tales with a story of how the mistress of the Crystal World loses her faith in human emotions and decides to freeze everything and seclude herself behind glittering walls of ice. Together, the audience and the artists in the performance will seek hope in the warmth of love and light through a world of amazing illusions and tricks. In this performance conjuring up a holiday atmosphere by the internationally renowned Hungarian contemporary circus troupe, visitors will get to admire the feats of artists already well-known among the local audience from other Recirquel productions, as they once again take the icy stage alongside Hungarian guest artists, including the country's most spectacular hip-hop dancers.
