Kecskés’s dance and mime for children Performing the story of Stravinsky’s Firebird with the cooperation of children – an interactive workshop 13:00 Folk-dance history for children – from shaman dances to the czardas – afterwards: dance house Handicraft workshops: * Making postcards with montage technique * Silk painting * Making a dragon of natural materials * Making a felt princess * Planting (and flowerpot decoration) * Making sand pictures * Wreathing * Making a sheep * Making straw toys * Making bead jewellery * Making textile toys * Basketwork * Ludwig Creative Corner Further programmes: - Baby playground – with the interactive programme of Apacuka between 10:15 and 11:00 - Logic games - Miniature radio studio Every Sunday, the Palace of Arts presents its series Palace of Delights which is aimed at curious and culturally interested children and adults. Each Sunday has its own special theme around which all the day’s programmes are constructed. These include stage programmes and handicraft activities as well. Our visitors can learn the inner secrets of various branches of the arts and they can make music together with visiting musicians. From time to time, there are also exciting “Special Days, Special Customs” events, arranged jointly with the National Dance Theatre. And for tiny tots, there is always the playroom. The host of this series of events is Attila Várkonyi (DJ Dominique).
