“Palace of Delights”
Interactive programs for children and adults who wish to learn
31 May 2009 Sunday
8 am - 1 pm
Blue Hall, Foyer, Glass Hall

For years now, the hugely popular “Palace of Delights” event has taken place each Sunday, where it welcomes curious children and their families with handicrafts, skill developing games and logical puzzles, meaningful quizzes and various stage performances. The theme of the programmes is given by an appropriate celebration, anniversary or “world day”. The stage programmes and handicraft activities are devised accordingly. Visitors can learn about each theme in a playful way but they can also enjoy hands on experience in practical activities, learn folk dance or if they feel like it, make music with the guest musicians. The last Sunday of each month sees the Behind the Beyond series which focuses on a Hungarian provincial city and county and presents the finest aspects of its culture, with the guest artists from a diversity of genres bringing the best their region has to offer.
