Music, in addition to evoking the emotions of the listener, is constructed according to a complicated system. At Hangulat Junior's free one-hour concerts, the young members of the audience can enjoy substantial insight into this intricate structure. This popular series is in the safe hands of two noted evangelists of Hungarian music: the pianists Gábor Eckhardt and Balázs Fülei, who both teach at the Liszt Academy. Each session offers far more than analysis, however: accompanied by expert commentary, the selected music works are performed live in the Glass Hall. Perhaps, in a few years’ time, some of the young people sitting in the auditorium will take their own place on the stage...
