The Mood Concerts at the Palace of Arts are now in their fifth year and they feature young artists at the inception of their careers. In our new monthly event Mood Extra we will be showcasing youngsters who have won the Annie Fischer musical performance scholarships. This is funded by the Education Ministry and Filharmónia Budapest Nonprofit Kht, and was established in 2007 in honour of the great Hungarian pianist who helped so many young artists in their early years and who was herself internationally celebrated as one of the all time greats. Ten scholars are chosen each year by a jury of respected professionals. These talented young musicians perform on the third Wednesday of each month in the Glass Hall. Entry is free.
