Organised on the model of the Müpa's successful and long-running Colour Concerts series, the new Junior Colour youth series is specifically geared to the primary-school age group. Some of these Saturday-afternoon concerts will be performed by students from the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy's Special School for Exceptional Young Talents - meaning young artists whose ages approximate those of the children in the audience - and others by the Music Academy's regular students. Featured as moderators at these programmes will be the students' teachers: Gábor Eckhardt, an instructor at the special school, and Balázs Fülei, head of the Music Academy's Chamber Music Workshop - both of them seasoned and successful programmers and presenters of numerous events for children - will now be stepping up to the podium of the Glass Hall together with their own students.
