Recirquel: IMA
29 April 2023, Saturday
3:30 pm - 4:10 pm
Müpa Tent
Produced by Müpa Budapest

Recirquel's latest immersive production, IMA (‘Prayer'), is returning to the tent set up next to Müpa Budapest. During the performances, which was presented last year as part of the Bartók Spring festival and ran to a full house, viewers can become part of the production and step out of the reality of earthly existence. Those present will enter into a unique state of sensuality and consciousness: floating in an immersive space that, shaped by millions of points of light and by sound, evokes the universe, they will join the acrobats in discovering the hidden paths of the soul.

This production directed by Bence Vági brings cirque danse into a new dimension: first created by the Recirquel Company and now known around the world, this genre merges the formal languages of contemporary circus, dance and theatre.

An essential element of the immersive experience involves ‘tuning in' in the space especially designed for this purpose prior to the performance. To this end, we recommend that visitors arrive at least 15 minutes before the announced start time. Due to the nature of the venue and the production, we are unable to admit viewers who arrive late to the performance.

The duration of the performance is approximately 35 minutes. It is not recommended for viewers under the age of 12.

The première was an event of the Bartók Spring Festival.
