OctoberPest Tango Show
OctoberPest TangoFest gala programme - László Budai and guests
3 October 2019, Thursday
5 pm - 6:30 pm
Festival Theatre

The artists invited to this festival from Hungary and abroad will demonstrate the modern, living face of tango in all its richness, interconnectedness and styles. In addition to the classical form still danced today, we will see tango nuevo, neotango, and contemporary tango, just as the music extends from classical tango and the works of Piazzolla to the music of the present day. The energy and sheer variety of the dances and music will help show that tango has a future. Let us open the door to the soul of this exciting dance form. Because what is tango anyway? Love? Perhaps this show will provide the answer.
