For close to 70 years, the KOLO ensemble has been preserving and nurturing the folk traditions of Serbia and the surrounding region with its top-notch displays of its music, dance and customs. Its distinctive performance style, characterised by an exacting harmony between visual and musical elements, is the work of renowned choreographers, composers, music researchers, ethnographers and dancers. KOLO's artists have enchanted audiences around the world with their expressive and perfectionist dance technique and the opulence of their singing, musicianship and costumes. They have appeared at such prestigious venues as New York's Metropolitan Opera House and Carnegie Hall, the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, London's Royal Festival Hall, Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre, Oper Köln, Venice's Teatro La Fenice, the Sydney Opera House and Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts. The ensemble's international success has been recognised with major awards.

Müpa Budapest provides complementary parking for visitors with paid tickets to any of our public performances on the day of the performance. Free parking in this case is available for a single entry and lasts until Müpa Budapest closes.
