László Velekei first started working with the musical output of Zoltán Kodály in 2013, which led to the highly acclaimed piece Kodály. The choreographer has returned to this theme to create his piece Romance, which delves into the composer's work from every angle, paying tribute to the Hungarian musicologist, music pedagogue and researcher of folk music.
The Hungarian National Dance Ensemble invites the audience on a journey in which the audience can discover or rediscover Hungary's glorious folk costumes, the enchanting melodies of its folk music and the inimitable virtuosity of its dances.
