BANDALOOP: STRINGS
7 April 2019, Sunday
6:40 pm - 8 pm
Festival Theatre
Produced by Müpa Budapest
Budapest Spring Festival

BANDALOOP, the company that also amazed a Budapest audience with its stunning dance on the glass wall of an office building, now returns to the theatre. They developed Strings, their new show, with the world-famous London-based composer and DJ, Gabriel Prokofiev.
Amelia Rudolph and the dancers created a choreography that allows the artistic apparatus of vertical dance to come into its own indoors. One of the principal roles is played by the rope itself, which represents, visibly and metaphorically, relationships, belonging, breaking, control, and release.

The performance will be preceded from 8 pm by a taste of the BANDALOOP's fascinating vertical dance on the frontage of the Müpa Budapest. The open-air performance is a free programme.
