In recent years, Henriett Tunyogi and Tamás Vásáry have combined the most refined forms of music to create a very special concert format based on the mutual inspiration of the various genres. These productions exploring the mystical power of breaking through boundaries frequently elevates the audience to the heights of philosophical reflection even as it draws them into uncharted mystical territory. Both artists insist that it is “only the realist who believes in miracles”. Their programme of works from Liszt, Debussy and Kodály also explores the miraculous, and the realist individual prepared to embrace the miracle and pass on contradictory energies: “By experiencing the positive and negative contradictions within themselves, individuals can discover their true, whole and eternal identities through mortality, light and shadow”.
