Alice Sara Ott
Lullaby of Eternity (Based on the Lacrimosa movement from Mozart's Requiem)
At her recital on this evening, Alice Sara Ott will present her new album "Echoes of Life", issued by Deutsche Grammophon. The programme will be the artist's personal reflection on the meaningful moments and thoughts that life brings us.
This concert will be a truly contemporary multimedia production built around Chopin's 24 preludes, assuring that the Polish-French composer's Romantic music will be played in a modern, proactive and timeless form. Adding additional colour to Ott's remarkable programme will be works by György Ligeti, Nino Rota, Arvo Pärt, Francesco Tristano, Tōru Takemitsu and Chilly Gonzales, and she'll also have one of her own compositions to play, a work that she based on the famed Lacrimosa movement from Mozart's Requiem. The light painting projected on the stage of the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall will make this concert even more memorable. This concert promises a thrilling musical and visual experience.
