Bach also composed a great many pieces of a pedagogic nature, which to this day continue to be a part of the initial stage of music students' careers in music (primarily for those studying piano or organ). A group of the most talented members of the upcoming generation of organists will each play one of these short preludes and fugues, in addition to other pieces from the Bach organ repertoire.

Additional programmes will spice up the event in the Glass Hall and the Foyer; for example, the Bach Café and Bach Organ-workshop.
