Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 1 October from 10 am, at the Gold level on 2 October from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 2 October from 2 pm. The Basic level, as well as the members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 3 October.

Zsigmond Szathmáry, the ever free-spirited, daringly experimental and youthful minded composer/organist who has lived in Germany since 1970, celebrated his 85th birthday in 2024. This concert, featuring his friend and fellow artist László Fassang at the organ and the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra playing under the baton of Péter Dobszay, an organist himself, pays tribute to his work. In addition to two of Szathmáry’s own works, the program includes the organist’s transcriptions of pieces by Mussorgsky, Dvořák and Franck, as well as an improvisational salute from Fassang to his elder colleague.
