Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

The 51-year-old Daniel Harding, a former protégé of Sir Simon Rattle and Claudio Abbado, has been music director of the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome since 2024. The soloist for the legendary Italian ensemble’s Müpa Budapest concert is also Italian: Beatrice Rana (b. 1993), a true warrior of her generation with unmatched virtuosity and stamina married to exceptional passion – an artist who unleashes a degree of energy in her performances that is reminiscent of Martha Argerich. She will need all of these qualities as Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major is a work of particular difficulty in the instrument’s repertoire. Critics praise Harding’s conducting equally for its precision, exacting standards and stylistic sensitivity: in Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture and Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2 in D major, he will have every opportunity to display these virtues.
