This concert programme put together from different eras and genres and performed by outstanding soloists and the two world-renowned ensembles promises to be a true holiday experience. This Christmas repertoire features timeless opera selections such as Desdemona's prayer from Giuseppe Verdi's Otello and Lauretta's aria from Giacomo Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, set alongside classic Advent and Christmas pieces, including Franz Schubert's Ave Maria, César Franck's Panis Angelicus and Zoltán Kodály's Evening Song.
