Schedule of the Pécs Preliminary Rounds of the Solti International Conducting Competition

The preliminary round of the Solti International Conducting Competition is taking place at the Kodály Centre, with the participation of the Pannon Philharmonic, and will continue until 4 October. Detailed information on the format and running order of the round is available on the competition’s dedicated webpage.
Each contestant is given 7 minutes of rehearsal time, during which they may rehearse the two pieces with the Pannon Philharmonic in any order they choose. Once the rehearsal time has passed, they must conduct the first task followed by the second conducting task in a concert-style performance, without interruption. The order of the pieces cannot be changed.
The contestants will take to the stage of the Kodály Centre in the following order:
