New Features Being Added to Our Website Broadcasts

Arriving on 25 January: live chat and Müpa Home Live+!

In tandem with Müpa Budapest’s 20th anniversary celebrations, we are offering our viewers several new features. One of the first developments of the festive year is to enable members of our audience to communicate with other culture enthusiasts via the Müpa Home platform during the broadcasts. So, in addition to enjoying our broadcasts in top HD quality, logged-in viewers who are either registered on our website or have Müpa+ membership, from 25 January, be able to chat with each other live on our website and comment during the performances.

The other good news is that, in the case of our classical music concert broadcasts, we will regularly add additional enriching content to some of them in the form of live written Hungarian-language narration by our music history expert – exclusively in the comments section of our website (it will not appear on YouTube or Facebook). Müpa Home Live+ will thus allow us to reflect on the music in parallel with the performance as we learn interesting facts about the work in question. We will always provide information about the upcoming Live+ broadcast in the advance notification email we send beforehand.

Naturally, these new features can also be switched off, or the broadcast itself set to play on a large screen for those who wish to focus exclusively on the concert. At the same time, we feel confident that many people will welcome our new service.
