One of our most popular and now traditional full-day concert series returns on 15 February. This time around, the marathon will bring the spotlight down on the captivating works of three excellent English composers, Henry Purcell, Edward Elgar and Benjamin Britten.

The parade of performers on this winter Sunday will once again include the leading lights of the Hungarian music community, from the Budafok Dohnanyi Orchestra to the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra and the Hungarian National Philharmonic, and from Júlia Pusker to István Várdai.

Between the performances, it will be worth taking a look at the tableau exhibition of the three leading figures of English music and their works to be played, which will explore their entire career paths and be spiced up by some characteristic anecdotes.

Ticket sales begin on Thursday, 6 November 2025 at 10 am.
