Each year we try to help get you in the festive mood with some heartwarming surprises: this time we have prepared an unusual Advent calendar for our viewers, one whose imaginary doors reveal the world backstage at Müpa Budapest, along with other spaces rarely or never seen by the public.
This Advent, the video series we have created over the past year together with numerous prominent artists will take you not only behind the scenes, but also above and beneath them. Every day from 1 December until the 24th, we will post a new video to our Facebook and Instagram platforms, as well as to our YouTube channel. Awaiting you along with these surprises is a daily puzzle that you can solve to win valuable concert tickets.
In addition to our Advent calendar, we also have other recreational opportunities on the way this December to help create a festive atmosphere, and if you browse through Müpa Budapest’s 2025 programmes, you will find a wide range of activities for the whole family to choose from, ranging from a concert bringing Wagnerian heroes to life and cirque danse productions to children’s programmes and classical music and jazz concerts.
Furthermore, in keeping with our tradition, we will also be offering a gift for the givers too: up until December 24, for every HUF 10,000 spent on a performance organised by Müpa Budapest or on the purchase of a gift voucher, we will add an extra HUF 1,000 gift voucher to your basket.
