Emilio was 13 when his parents gave him a drum kit as a present. By the age of 16, he was playing with such great names as Béla Szakcsi Lakatos and Gyula Babos. On one occasion at the Vienna Hotel Mariott, jazz great Chick Corea was so impressed with Emilio’s voice that he sat down and played a few songs on the piano with him. In September 2001, Emilio and his colleague Árpád “Tzumo” Oláh won the best European jazz band award in Brussels, while Emilio carried off the best drummer award. Besides ...being a superb singer and drummer, Emilio’s beatbox technique is internationally unique. He is currently working on his fourth album. Emilio is preparing for the most important concert of his musical career, where besides his greatest hits, he’ll also be showing off his jazz prowess. He has invited various guests including Roy&Ádám.
