From 4 to 6 June 2007 an unconventional SplitDeco™ will be on display in teh Glass Hall. These funtional pictures step out of their traditional, square frames and embrace the space, presenting us with a not everday view. The meaning of SplitDeco(TM) is split decoration, referring to a new school of art, founded by Gábor Orgoványi. The mural decorations prepared manually (based on paintings created with digital techniques) consist of several separate but related elements and fit the architectu...ral specialities of the given hall through emphasising them or covering them up. The creations of the exhibition have been prepared exclusively for the Glass Hall of the Palace of Arts. It proves the talent of the artists that they managed to conquer this space of unusual and extraordinary architectural solutions. Those ideas, which cannot be realised in the frame of the Hall, will be introduced through different installations This miracle in the Palace of Arts will last for three days, but everyone has the opportunity to visit the artists and smuggle this miracle, SplitDeco, into his/her home. For more information, visit: www.artoris.hu The exhibition was realised with the help of Ice-Art Hungary, www.iceart.hu.
