The Saudi Cultural Days offer the chance to take a glimpse into the culture of a mythical, faraway country. Through the works of contemporary Saudi painters and photographers displayed at the exhibition, visitors will get a taste of a colourful world full of traditions. The photographs showcase the natural beauty, historic monuments and everyday life of Saudi Arabia. A special feature of the exhibition will be three large-scale models representing the world-renowned treasures of two holy cities ...of the Muslim world which can only be visited by those of the Islamic faith: the Kaaba shrine that stands in the courtyard of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, the Kaaba Gate, and the Mosque of the Prophet in Medina. In parallel with the exhibition, the area beside the Palace of Arts entrance will offer visitors Arabic coffee and Saudi dates served in a traditional Bedouin tent, as well as Arab calligraphy and authentic henna tattoos for the ladies.
