The exhibition 'A Drop of Art' calls for action against a significant social problem of our age: rushing and the consequent decrease of attention towards children is notable. At the same time, we miss out on several experiences if we fail to examine and share the moments of our children's spiritual and intellectual growth. The Gézengúz Foundation called its photo competition to life in favour of sharing these experiences and to increase deliberate attention. 'A Drop of Art' encourages opennes...s and attention: to examine and share the most exciting moments of the connection between the intellectual growth of children under 8 and art; let it be the art of dance, the stage or movements, or a hobby or handicraft activity of concentration. The photo competition of the Gézengúz foundation divides the works of young, under 18 applicants into two age groups. Beside their works, amateur and professional photographers also introduce their views. Visitors of the exhibition can support the Gézengúz Foundation with special-fee text messages, with which they also help the creator of their favourite work of art towards receiving the audience award. The winner will receive the audience award on 30 December 2007 in the Palace of Arts, in the frame of a private concert. The money profited from the text messages is going to serve the cause of curing the children in the care of Gézengúz Foundation. One can enter the photo competition, which ends on 25 November 2007, both with digital photos and A3-size paper pictures. The detailed description of the competition is available from the www.gezenguz.hu/cseppnyi web page.
