Do you have your own fairy by any chance? Lilla, the little girl named in the title of this story, has one: her name is Fairyberry. Of course, it's okay if your mum and dad or your siblings are not acquainted with your particular fairy, because while it is common knowledge that anyone can see their own fairy companion, they remain invisible to others. In the musical tale of Lilla and Fairyberry, we befriend a seven-headed dragon, play with Boszi Csikizős, stroll with the Moon, then paint the sky blue and even save Princess Dorka.

This fairy-tale play from Gardrób Art Group, featuring live music, is based on Annamária Kádár's popular stories about the adventures of Lilla and Fairyberry. The overt aim of the stories is to develop emotional intelligence: Kádár, a psychologist, trainer and university lecturer, creates autobiographically inspired stories based on ‘originals' that happened to her when she was a child. In order to become psychologically healthy adults, to be able to cooperate with others, handle conflicts successfully and make good decisions, we need emotional intelligence, which helps us to recognise, identify and regulate different feelings. But what do Lilla and Fairyberry have to do with all this? Quite a lot, actually: the fairy with dancing feet helps the little girl express, understand and accept her emotions. Parents and teachers can easily recognise the Fairyberry that resides within them, the one who brings the little ones to experience things that they will be happy to remember even as adults. This fairy-tale drama, complemented by live music both entertains and teaches us how to live together and how to feel comfortable in our own skin. Because the imagination is not that far from reality...
