From hitting together two pebbles to the most modern, refined percussion instruments, from the music of ancient times to the present day and from Africa to the Caribbean, the Talamba Percussion Ensemble demonstrate the incredible diversity of percussion instruments, as well as providing the children with a chance to fall in love not not only with music, but the diversity of our world. This interactive exploration of musical instruments through space and time satisfies children's innate interest in percussion instruments, providing rich and varied entertainment for every age group.
The performance will be followed by a free activity session at Banner Square called Reverberation for all holders of tickets for the performance.
