Sold Out, But See It Live Anyway

The March 12th concert of the Avishai Cohen Quintet at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall has been sold out for weeks now, but those who were unable to get tickets, but still want to see the concert, can still do so. The next webcast of the Palace of Arts will be this particular performance.

Fonogram - Hungarian Music Awards Winners Announced

On March 2, 2011 the Fonogram - Hungarian Music Awards were presented for the 19th time. Several artists, bands and orchestras were recognised in the various categories who have either previously performed at the Palace of Arts or will be doing so in the near future.

Gluck's Opera at Met to Be Shown Again

Müpa will repeat Gluck’s opera ‘Iphigenia in Tauris’ due to technical problems during the 26 February live transmission from the Metropolitan. The opera can be seen in the Auditorium at 19:00 pm on 11 March 2011.

Mini Matinée in Festival Theatre

Our guests are kindly informed that Mini Matinée’s programme “Hoppláda” (Noodle Doodle Box) scheduled for 26 February and 12 March will take place in Festival Theatre instead of the place initially announced. Tickets already bought will be accepted in Festival Theatre. Due to the larger capacity of the hall, tickets are still available for both programmes at the original unit price of HUF 1,000.
