Elsa Valle – vocals (Cuba–Hungary) Ramon Valle – piano (Cuba) Omar Calvo Rodriguez – double bass (Cuba) Nils Fischer – percussion instruments (Germany) Gábor Winand – saxophone, flute, vocals Bálint Petz “Pan Con Solo” – guitars, tres Those who are familiar with the energetic style of Elsa Valle know what to expect at Béla Bartók National Concert Hall on May 20: cloudless, astonishingly sparkling mood, fantastic tunes, tight and fascinating rhythm. The Cuban singer living in Hungary has ...for long found a place in the heart of the audience, which is well proven by her numerous successful club concerts all over the country. What is special about her spring concert due at the Palace of Arts is that it also features Elsa’s world famous pianist brother: Ramon Valle imbibed authentic Caribbean Latin jazz from his infancy and today he is one of the most popular figures of music life in Holland. He has also performed at Hungarian festivals several times, always with great success. It is a rare occasion, however, that he has the chance to make music with his sister Elsa. What the audience will hear in May is the two Valles’ own compositions, tunes with one hundred percent Cuban roots; what is more, the bands of the brother and sister are to merge so as to form an unrepeatable dream team for the occasion.
