The story began in a pizzeria in northern Berlin, where an entire orchestra under the leadership of Max Raabe – which would go on to become the Palast Orchester – decided to perform dance and film music classics of the 1920s and 1930s in their own distinctive style. The underlying sound of the orchestra is provided by piano, guitar, sousaphone and drums. Audiences at this year’s festival will get to know the crazy guy who orchestrates and sings the hits of today, such as Oops, I Did It Again, Le...t's Talk About Sex and Sex Bomb, in the style of the 20s and 30s. Brilliant and hilarious! Presented by: Budapest Spring Festival
