The always innovative founding members of Transglobal Underground (TGU), Hamid Man Tu and Tim Whelan, have once again come up with a startling new idea, gathering musicians from all over Europe to meld traditional music with modern electronic sounds to produce a recording common to all of them. The album U.N.I.T.E. – A Gathering of Strangers is a real gem of the ethno music genre – featuring music from the Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, Hungary, France, the UK, Ireland and Bulgaria. They thems...elves describe it as “the beginning of a journey... The album is the map, but we don’t know what any of the travellers are going to experience along the way.” Presented by: Palace of Arts
