This production by four professional musicians is not only unique because they are all brothers but also because of their previous achievements in the realms of jazz and classical music. During their ten years, they have been members of various symphony and chamber orchestras. As members of the Budapest Festival Orchestra and the Ferenc Erkel Chamber Orchestra, they have played all over Europe as well as in Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, China besides singing in the major halls of the United States. ... Their programmes feature their own compositions and arrangements of spirituals. Their style is perhaps best described as a fusion of Take 6 and the Golden Gate, and they adapt music for their own voices. Their manner of performing combines the indispensable lightness of jazz and improvisation with the precision and sensitivity learned from their classical background. Their concerts not only display their singing abilities but also their talents as instrumentalists. This time they invite interesting and unexpected guests – for example the world famous violinist Barnabás Kelemen will be showing us an entirely new side of his musical personality. 'Ever since the Palace has been founded, we have been waiting to be allowed to sing here. It was great to perform Mozart and Beethoven, but we would also like to test our other side in this fantastic environment! With the cooperation of our Guests we will expand the world of á capella jazz, in order to be able to lead our Dear Audience into the marvellous depths of music with the help of our instruments. We asked Barna Kelemen (violin) and György Lakatos (bassoon) to play lighter pieces than their usual repertoire would allow, while Bálint Bársony (saxophone) and László Nagy (guitar) will introduce their less loud and more serious side. On top of this, we, the four brothers will also be there. The Bolyki Brothers kindly invite You to a special evening!'
