Robert Lepage is more than just a name at the MET, the audience was thrilled by his direction of Damnation of Faust, which was broadcast as part of the MET series in 2008. His dizzying visuality and theatrical background guarantee this first episode of the Ring will be unforgettable. This new production will be premièred two weeks before the broadcast with a cast containing numerous world stars, some debuting at the MET in new roles: Bryn Terfel as Wotan and Stephanie Blyth as Fricka.
