The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra performs Verdi's Requiem at the Palace of Arts on November 1. All Saints' Day is always an appropriate date to perform this famous funeral mass, but this performance is also an opportunity to pay our respects to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The musicians have waived their performance fees and all proceeds from the evening will be donated to the victims of the disaster. The conductor will be Kobayashi Ken-Ichiro, Japanese cultural ambassador ...to Hungary and former winner of the Hungarian Television Conductors' Competition. Presented by: Győr Philharmonic Orchestra
