Tamás Kosóczki was born in Baja in 1979 and graduated from the Szeged University Conservatoire in spring 2003. Between 2004 and 2007 he was a PhD student at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, where his supervisers were István Lantos, Dezső Karasszon and István Ruppert. In 2009, he was awarded his doctorate with a distinction. In 1998 he founded the City Organ Evenings in Baja, and has been the event’s artistic director ever since.
