She won first place at numerous leading competitions and besides graduating as an organist and pianist at home, also obtained a piano diploma from the London Guildhall School of Music in addition to attending master classes. In 2005, she was the first organist with the “Instrumental artist of the year” award at the German Record Academy ECHO-Klassic Awards. She has given solo concerts in many European countries and been invited to leading concerts such as the Bremen Music Festival and the Schwetzing Festival. In a field that tends to be dominated by men, the thirty one year old female organist brings to Budapest a very exciting programme. Besides regularly playing the “daily bread” of organists, the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, she also revels in her role as ambassador for Baltic music: she will perform works by her fellow countrymen Aivars Kalejs and Peteris Vasks and she will play pieces from liturgical music by the world famous contemporary Estonian composer, Arvo Pärt. She will be joined by a choir of young singers, the Szeged based Victoria Chamber Choir which is now nearly ten years old. The choir focuses on Renaissance and contemporary music and have taken part in many Hungarian premiere of works by Pärt. In 2005, the choir won the first prize and the Grand Prix at the Grand Prix Européen des Chours in Gorizia.
