Liszt: Variations on a movement from J. S. Bach’s cantata ”Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen” Ravel: Miroirs Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition Oleg Maisenberg was born in Odessa in 1945 and from 1971 to 1980 gave regular concerts with the top Soviet orchestras. Since 1981 he has lived in Vienna. He frequently plays at leading festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, the Vienna Music Weeks, the Music Weeks Lucerne, the Berlin Festival, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Edinburgh Fest...ival and the Moscow Sviatoslav Richter Festival. In 1995, he was voted an honorary member of the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft. He was a professor at the Stuttgart Music College from 1985 to 1998, and the Vienna Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst from 1998. He runs international master classes, and sits on international competition juries.
