The superb ensembles and soloists of the festival have premiered over five hundred pieces over the years. This year, the first of the four concerts presents a particularly broad spectrum from different generations: Péter Durkó, Róbert Gulya and Péter Zombola represent composers in their twenties and thirties, while the oldest master is Zoltán Pongrácz who was born on February 5th 1912. The music of this programme will be performed by a broad combination of instruments, from string quartets to songs, from a brass quintet to a movement for solo flute.
